Imagine pensar

num mundo

que não quer pensar

Imagine agir

num mundo viciado em reagir

Imagine querer

num mundo

que vende o querer

Imagine amar

num mundo que não sabe amar

Two poems for Axl Rose

Mr. American

(for Axl Rose)

Mr. Billy wants to know

where to go

Mr. Billy wants to do

what we do

Billy is ever that boy

before the mirror

reaching out for a passion

to live in Peace

with his red hair

with his blue eyes

I wonder where he cries

I wonder where he cries

Mr. American (Part II)

Mr. Billy ‘s been dancing

Mr. Billy ‘s been singing

Mr.Billy‘s been building

Every word he’s been dreaming

Mr. Billy ‘s been loving

Mr. Billy ‘s been waiting

Mr.Billy‘s been learning

Every truth he’s been living

Mr.Billy‘s been looking

Mr.Billy‘s been having

So long he‘s been searching

a way to renew that feeling
